Technology Use Survey

To support language teachers’ need for new technologies, the LT4 (Technology Training Targeted for Language Teachers) project is coordinating efforts to bring national, regional, and state language associations into working relationships with language technology organizations.

Add your voice! We are still seeking input from language teachers. Please take 5 minutes to fill out the LT4 survey on the CARLA website. Thank you!

The goal is to bring more technology sessions and workshops to the conferences language teachers attend, with a focus on K-12 language teachers and their technology needs.

To determine the needs of language teachers with regard to technology, a technology skills survey has been circulated and completed by more than 100 language teachers from around the country. The data gathered from this survey will guide the process of selecting topics and approaches to offering technology learning experiences to language teachers.

The results of the survey up to Sepember, 2007, are summarized below.
