Submitting Items for Inclusion

The LCTL Project would be thrilled to include your audio, video, suggestions, and sample exercises as part of the Virtual Audio-Video Archive. To submit any of these items, simply follow the instructions below.

Audio or video

You can email digital files to us at lctl@umn.edu, or send a CD, DVD, tape, or, video cassette via regular mail (we'll digitize them and return them to you as soon as possible). Please include information about the photographer/artist and copyright holder so that we may include the proper attributions with the record in the VAVA. [Please remember to include the permission to use any copyrighted material you submit.]

Language exercises

If you use files from the VAVA to create your own lessons and are willing to contribute them to our store of sample exercises, you can send the electronic files to lctl@umn.edu or mail us hard copies at the address below. If you can't share the lessons, we'd appreciate at least a description of which clips you used and what you used them for.

Suggestions or ideas

If you come up with a great idea for an exercise or a lesson topic, but don't have the time or tools to develop your idea, please share it with us! You can send your ideas directly to the LCTL Project at lctl@umn.edu, or submit them to one of our LCTL listservs.

Items you are willing to contribute to the VAVA should be sent to:
